Human beings never make decisions because they make sense

The brain operates bottom to top, right to left—so human beings never make decisions because they make sense—we make sense of the things that feel right. I am making sense of stories that are happening to me. I am making sense of the things I think. The sense I am making is not simply an intellectual, mathematical thing. It is an emotional process.

Those I choose to share my story with help me make sense of myself and my experiences. It is our effort to offer a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space to work out those stories within; to identify what my story has been—and what do I want my story to be going forward? We are here to listen, to support, and to offer guidance as appropriate.
